The garden here at Chaffinch House has been brimming with activity in recent days. A JAY was present for over half an hour on Saturday morning whilst both GOLDFINCHES are still present on the Nyger, with frequent visits from Greenfinches.
There are two Woodpigeons present almost constantly, with repeat visits from Blue Tit and Great Tit families, up to 25 Long-tailed Tits at a time, 1-2 COAL TITS and 29 House Sparrows.
Common Blackbirds are now feeding their second brood, with Common Starlings having had a good breeding season with the local flock containing at least 8 juveniles.
RED KITES are still daily visitors
