BEE ORCHIDS in flower

Chris and I were very pleased to see these BEE ORCHIDS today - 21 spikes in all at Pow Wow Lake in the Chess Valley - as well as 11 COMMON SPOTTED ORCHIDS and a single COMMON TWAYBLADE.

Also, the Waterside family of Mute Swans have moved down to here and at least 4 pairs of Barn Swallow are nesting.
